A dungeon-crawling action-RPG developed by Falcom. The player controls a swordsman who has fallen unwillingly into a deep underground labyrinth and must fight his way to the surface. Gameplay is unique in that using left or right on the d-pad does not turn the hero, rather it rotates the dungeon around him, allowing the player a better view of his surroundings. Battles are handled in real-time, and the dungeon is filled with many monsters and puzzles. Followed by the Japan-only sequel "Brandish II: The Planet Buster." - werwe
