Inindo places you in ancient Japan during the period of the warring states, as an Iga ninja whose village is invaded by Oda Nobunaga, a historical figure who conquered most of Japan. You swear revenge upon Nobunaga, and embark upon a quest to train yourself to eventually fight Nobunaga, by going to various mountain dungeons.
