This number is part of Taito’s classic Chase H.Q. series, and is one of the only games in the series played from the first person perspective. As always, you play a police officer who hunts down the criminal underworld in bumper-to-bumper chases. The overall objective is to catch up with the level’s boss, actively dodging obstacles and other enemy cars along the way. If you have achieved this and retained enough health, you then attempt to destroy his car by rear-ending it with yours; not the most efficient technique for pulling someone over, but effective nonetheless. Players must do this within a strict time-limit, which makes for a challenging play; however, you will have a select number of turboboosts to aid your pursuit. Points are awarded based on the amount of time you take to beat each level. If you manage to get through all the stages without losing a life, there will be a special bonus round waiting for you. - J.D. Smith
