This release actually predated the well-received computer release. Starfleet Academy is a flight simulator in which players command one of five vessels through daring missions in order to successfully complete their training at Starfleet Academy. Cadets will go through many lectures on Starfleet directives and must complete basic training missions before they will see combat. Outside of the actual flight simulation sections, this game is extremely similar to the SNES release of Mechwarrior. - J.D. Smith
