Sonic Blast Man is one of the many Final Fight clones that appeared on the snes. The defining thing about this game is the large character sprites. The graphics are actually really good, especially notable for the Mode 7 boss fights. The lead character is laughable, and looks like a mulletted dork in an blue Optimus Prime costume.

-------

A side-scrolling beat-em-up loosely based on the Taito coin-op. Plays very much like Capcom's "Final Fight," though this game has a more lighthearted tone, as the main character is a ridiculously-dressed superhero parody. Bonus levels are taken directly from the arcade game, which featured a pad which you would hit to test the power of your punches. On SNES, your punching power is determined by how quickly you rotate the D-pad. Followed on SNES by Sonic Blast Man II. - werwe
