Fans of the original series of Pitfall games should be satisfied with this amusing platformer. The controls are simple to master, but the bosses can be trying at times. And while you have a wide variety of weapons at your side, finding what you need in order to progress to the next level can be vexing. However, the many hidden secrets (including a trip back down memory lane for retro-gamers) and puzzles scattered throughout keep what would be an otherwise dry platform-for-points title interesting. - J.D.
