Donkey Kong Country 2 is a strong follow up to one of the greatest games of all time. This time Donkey Kong himself has been captuared by King K. Rool and its up to Diddy Kong and his girlfriend Dixey Kong to save him. The game keeps the same exellent style of gameplay and graphics and plays just as good as the DCK1 or indeed DCK3. You are required to complete screens of levels with a big boss at the end of each screen. The animals are ever present with some new additions. You are able to compete in a quiz show every now and again to earn more lives. The linear storyline is easy enougth to complete, as in DCK1, although there are some savagely hard levels - But DKC2 includes a hidden screen of levels similar to star world on SMW. It is possible to get the game status to 103% complete which is a real challenge to do without a walkthrough guide. If you liked DCK1 then you'll like this, its that simple. - BEAST
