This is basically an update of Moral Kombat 3, though it has a couple of characters that were not even in the Arcade version. Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 has pretty much identical gameplay to the original MK3, however, they had to remove the names of characters and mute the sound to make it fit on the cart. They also didn't fix the most annoy aspect of the original: a poor AI. The AI is so horrible, that in some matches the computer opponent hardly puts up a fight, and in the next, there is little you can do to stop them.
