Donkey Kong Country 3 (Pirate)

Courtesy of mog123:

In July 2006, I bought myself a DKC3 cart for a bargain of 2 bucks, the seller thought the game was broken. But I saw it was kind of weird. After I got it, I saw that on the back it had the holes like an American cart. So I thought "it's probably NTSC", so I hooked up my modded PAL Snes, and it played on 60Hz NTSC. I know that Japanese carts look like PAL ones, but why the hell would a Japanese cart have the holes like an American one? It was a pirate of course. I opened the cart up and saw a black "gloptop" bubble - yep it's a pirate. So I'm sending you the photos of the pcb(front/back) + cart(front/back). Hope you will make use of them.

PS: The interesting stuff about them:

  • The batter Holder(the batter can slide out/in , without any soldering, pretty convenient)
  • The PCB is named SSF v 1.0
