Even the balloons can kill you

This game is one of the most frustrating experiences on the SNES. You are supposed to outrun a lit fuse before it reaches a bomb at the end of the level, and everything is an obstacle that is hard to avoid. Not only that, you have to collect four card suit icons that are hidden in balloons, and if you miss even one, you have to restart the level, without recovering your health. This wouldn't be so bad, except you can't backtrack if you miss the balloon by even a pixel.

Anyways, I got this prototype off Ebay in 2012 from famed collector DreamTR. I would assume this comes from his time at Tips n' Tricks. The prototype only has 9074 bytes different from the final version of the game. Virtually all of the different bytes are located in blank areas of the ROM image, which are a noisy checkerboard when observed in a tile viewer. I would expect the other changes are minor bug fixes.

The prototype has a date of 6/13 on it. Presumably, it is June 13, 1994, which is not long before the game went into production (the one PCB scan I have indicates it was in production in August 1994).
