This side-scroller was based on the immensely popular 90’s cartoon Spider-Man: the Animated Series. Like most Marvel-Comics games, this featured a bit of a cross-over in that players could obtain special items that would allow them to summon the Fantastic-Four to help fight off the numerous baddies. While it does a fair job in recreating the environment of the cartoon series, Spidey can be a tad difficult to control. Similarly, most of the gut-wrenching difficulty in this release comes not from enemies but from control issues as you try and navigate the many traps and pitfalls throughout. - J.D. Smith
