In Double Dragon V, the series shifted from its traditional gameplay of a side-scrolling beat-em-up to an SNK style fighting game. With generic characters like "Blade" and "Sickle", it doesn't look like they put much creative thought into this. I remember beating the game by exclusively doing throws. - Evan G
