Hebereke's Popoon / Hebereke no Popoon

This prototype of Hebereke no Popoon was purchased off of Yahoo Japan Auctions in July 2013. It has about 12,000 bytes different from the final version, meaning that there are unlikely to be many meaningful differences from the final version. The majority of the difference in the binary can be accounted for by a few inserted or deleted bytes. About the only thing I noticed was when you lost a match (this is choosing the versus option (たいせん) the whole way through). In the prototype, losing takes you back to the title screen. In the final version, it takes you back to the character select screen. I didn't get too far in the game, because even at the lowest difficulty, the computer controlled opponent is unrelenting!

Front of the cart. Here is my translation of the cart: First line: へべれけのぽぷーん - Hebereke No Popoon. Second Line: 12月22日発売 8200円 - Release day of December 22, at 8200 yen. Third Line: 1月31日までに返市お原いします　- return before January 31st.

Back of the cart. Has a date of 93/11/03, just over a month before release. 037 might be the build number.
