Those who were alive during the heyday of strange cartoons spawned by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles craze are sure to remember the short-lived but entertaining adventures of T-Bone and Razor, also known as the Swat Kats. This unusual platformer contains a level select system resembling the Mega Man series. In addition, there is one level of mode-7 style gameplay in which you must man the Turbokat in order to save MegaKat City, though it is a terrifically long rescue mission indeed. Players may select T-Bone or Razor from level to level. While it does not have a point-system, Swat Kats contains a unique weapons upgrade system to keep things interesting. This is one of the rarer titles for the SNES and is also the only video-game to come out of the Swat Kats franchise. - J.D. Smith
