This was the last Star Wars game for the SNES, and I think it was the best. It had tons of variety, plus it was very challenging. Each character had unique abilities, and made some levels easier to pass with some characters rather than others. The platform levels are very large, but sometimes it was tedious jumping on tiny platforms. I generally liked how items are spread around and hidden. The controls were decent. Jumping is not always perfect, as mentioned before. Plus charging up your weapon is sometimes unreliable. Sliding is not the easiest thing to perform, but you really don't have to do it often. Now onto graphics. The graphics look great, and all the enemies look like they did on the movie. Which makes the lack of detail on some characters dissappointing. The backgrounds are also well done. The levels made with mode 7 are really cool. The final 2 levels where you go into the Death Star are simply amazing. Also, some bosses, such as the Rancor are very cool, visually. The frame rate kind of gets slow after you use thermal detonators, which sucks. The music is awesome. You get all the classic Star Wars tunes, and are nearly perfect on the SNES! The sound effects are straight out of the movie as well. This is one of my favourite Super Nintendo games. I have passed it many times on all difficulty levels. I suggest you play it, even if you aren't a Star Wars fan. The sheer gaming variety is unlike any other game on the SNES.
