This uncommon title features a unique combination of platformer-style gaming and mode-7 racing. Unfortunately, quality here seems to have been sacrificed in the name of variety. The platform levels contain very poor graphics and the controls can be a bit slippery, if not difficult. The racing levels are choppy, but are also redeeming in that players get to use all of the Mach-5’s special gadgets, making it a more combat-oriented driving game.- <b>JDS</b>
