1|Pirates of the Dark Water is a generic Final Fight clone based on the Hanna-Barbera cartoon of the same name.  I personally find Final Fight and its clones to be rather easy and boring, but I guess some people might enjoy this.
1|Anyways, I played through the first three levels of the prototype and final version of this game, and as far as I could tell they were identical.  If there was any changes to the text, I didn't see it.  About the only change is that in the prototype the "Licensed by Nintendo" text is missing from the copyright screen when you first load the game.

1|Ballz took a couple of photos of the prototype to show what is likely a form of copy protection (according to TheRedEye).  If the cellophane on the PCB was tampered with, then the company would know that the reviewer was trying to dump the contents of the game.
