Evan G prototype1/screen01.png This is a near final prototype of Operation Thunderbolt. snes_central@yahoo.ca July 3, 2021 1|This prototype is part of a collection of loose EPROMs recovered by the Video Game History Foundation on behalf of an anonymous collector. This lot contained prototypes from various systems including Game Boy, Mega Drive/Genesis, SNES, Game Gear, 32X, NES, Turbo-Grafx 16, Atari XE and Master System. The prototypes for other systems will be released on other sites, such as Hidden Palace and SMS Power. 1|This prototype appears to be near final. I couldn't get it to work in SNES9x, despite hacking the internal header to have the same mapping as the final version of the game. The unmodified prototype runs fine in bsnes. A cursory play of the first part of the game did not reveal any noticeable differences compared to the final version of the game. I suspect that the end game credits have a slight change with the copyright, at least by what I found in the binary: 1|Prototype:| 17|@ TAITO CORPORATION 1994 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED 1|Final:| 17|@ TAITO 1994 LICENSED BY NINTENDO 13|0/5/2/0528/prototype1/Operation_Thunderbolt_(prototype).zip|Download Here|
