Nostalgia Alley for making this available, and The Video Game History Foundation for dumping this!
1|This is a fairly late prototype of Big Sky Trooper. It is one of two prototypes in a lot, this one is labelled 5-23 (presumably May 23, 1995). This places it after E3 in 1995, so I am not sure what the purpose of this prototypes would be. The game apparently came out in October 1995, so it is probably not surprising a late May build is near final. On the battery is the name "Tom", which may refer to Tom Payne, who worked on the art of the game.
1|I played the game a bit, and it appears to be close to final. There is a debugging counter at the top of the screen, and the satellite retrieval system seems kind of broken. The first level of the game appears to be final.
