Hungry Dinosaurs is an Othello-style game that can support up to four players. Peebs, who has beaten every single SNES game, tells me that he considers it to be one of the most difficult games on the system to beat.

Anyways, this prototype is very close to being final. It comes from a collection of prototypes that originates from Germany. There are 11,919 bytes different from the final PAL release, though most of this is because a few bytes were inserted in a couple of places. Maybe these were some last minute bug fixes. The internal header is corrupt, so if you try playing it in an emulator, it will play it in NTSC mode. The prototype PCB is a PAL region board, so this is definitely not how it should be played. I have provided a hack so it plays in PAL mode. The game is not optimized for PAL and runs slower than the Japanese version of the game (Harapeko Bakka). So if you play the raw prototype file, it will run as fast as that.

The prototype PCB has a sticker on the EPROM that says "SNSP H.D.". SNSP is just a code that indicates it is a PAL game.
