Mega Man X / Rockman X

Mega Man prototypes are highly desired. However, this one was dumped and the binary is identical to final. The checksum on the bottom chip matches the last 512k of the revision 1.0 US version. This was originally sold on Ebay in 2015, and this was in the description.

Rare prototype of Mega Man X for SNES.

The EPROM sticker says Ver. 0.2 build. This is apparently a very early build of the game. Cartridge is being sold AS-IS because I do not have a SNES system to test it on.

The cartridge is made up of two EPROMs stacked on top of one another with a wire coming out of the top EPROM. I have never seen this mechanism for a prototype before, but there are other SNES prototypes currently on eBay with the same thing, so it is not a one-of-a-kind instance.

This cartridge originally came from a former Capcom employee so I have no doubt in its authenticity. Any other concerns, feel free to message me and I will answer to the best of my ability.

Obviously the seller didn't play the game.
