Lufia & the Fortress of Doom

title

Here are a list of known prototypes of Lufia & the Fortress of Doom. None are dumped, as far as I know.

There are a number of prototypes of Lufia 1. Taito must not have cared much about getting them back from game magazines, or wherever they sent them to. None of these prototypes are dumped, but I would be surprised if they were much different from final or the already dumped prototype.

1) This prototype was sold on Ebay in January 2015 by seller "dork_stick". Sold for $178.49. For some reason, the back has a Japanese label, even though it is on a US cartridge.

2) This prototype was sold on Ebay in 2013 by seller "nicksuders", for $350. It has a label on cart that says 7/14, which I would assume stands for July 14 (several months before it was actually released). There is a thread about it on Digital Press.

3) This prototype was sold on Ebay in 2013 by seller "thegreybox_restorednes". It was eventually sold with a best offer at some value below $499.95. The handwriting on the chips is the same as the dumped prototype, so I would not be surprised if it was the same version.

4) This was a prototype was sold on Ebay in 2013 by seller "Zombiescott". It sold for $305. It too has the same handwriting as the dumped prototype. It is hard to confirm with certainty, but it is probably the same as prototype #3

5) This prototype was sold on Ebay in 2009, by "2_dudes_from_colorado". The winning bid was $76. The angle the stickers are cut are slightly different than prototype #3, so I assume this one is a different copy.
